 Bill Firpo passes a restaurant and tries to live a decent life. His brothers, the kleptomaniac Alvin and Dave Klein crooks are however involved in various criminal activities. Alvin and Dave to be released from prison on parole. They bring Bill by a trick into believing that he was being persecuted by the police. Finally he is persuaded even the robbery of a bank in the small town of Paradise (Pennsylvania) participate.
